Our Location
QCA Spas, Inc. corporate headquarters, warehouses, and manufacturing/assembly facilities are located in Bettendorf, Iowa. We also have a European warehouse to serve our international customers.
Project Needs:
They are a multifaceted manufacturer, retailer, and wholesaler. They manufacture products here in Iowa, USA. Their main product lines are spas and infrared saunas. Many of their products have unique patented innovations. In addition they have multiple locations around the United States.
Solution:
We provided a hosted solution on our servers for their many locations that all employees can access from anywhere in the world with just an Internet connection. They have access to the customer relations management solution of Goldmine. They also have access to Microsoft Office for normal business documents and Cougar Mountain software for accounting and point of sale. Cougar Mountain provides multifaceted solutions for retail, back office, and manufacturing. We used the point of sale for the retail locations. We used the order entry solutions to provide the wholesale invoicing needs, and we used the some custom add on solutions to provide manufacturing needs. QCA Spas, Inc. has always like using kits to provide the manufacturing items to customers. With Cougar Mountain's kits feature it was easy to setup kits for each of the manufactured products that they produce. The largest problem with the kits solution with Cougar Mountain is that there are no built in abilities to copy and maintain kits. The kits solution from Computer Team, Inc. provides them the ability to copy a kit to new one and they edit that kit to the specific needs. They can also use the kits custom add-on to edit multiple kits at the same time. For example they can replace a part on multiple kits all at the same time.
